Linsangan & Linsangan Law Offices (Linlaw) will celebrate
its 22nd Anniversary in the practice of Maritime and Admiralty Law on
15 July 2007. Founded by Atty. Pedro L. Linsangan who
is still at its bow, Linlaw is a small firm representing marine insurance
companies, in the exercise of their subrogatory rights, and uninsured
consignees in cargo claims against common carriers, charterers, arrastre
operators, cargo forwarders, and other bailees, who may have been at fault
or negligent in the vigilance over the goods to and from Philippine ports
(Cargo Claims).
We also represent Filipino Seafarers and their families in collecting
contractual benefits and compensations, plus tortuous damages, against
their employers and the P & I Clubs. So far, we have the most number
of crew claims pending before the National Labor Relations Commission
(NLRC), the Voluntary Arbitrator and Panel of Voluntary Arbitrator, the
Associated Marine Officers and Seamen's Union of the Philippines (AMOSUP),
the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. We have correspondents all
over the world for the best enforcement or protection of our clients'
rights, or for the prevention or redress of a wrong (Crew Claims). Our
Atty. Gerard M. Linsangan is in charge of litigation.
With our Atty. Glenda M. Linsangan-Binoya heading the
Intellectual Property Department, we could competently and efficiently
protect your intellectual property rights (Copyright and Related Rights;
Trademarks and Service Marks; Geographic Indications; Industrial Designs;
Patents; Layout-Designs [Topographies] of Integrated Circuits; and Protection
of Undisclosed Information) within our jurisdiction.
We may not be able to guarantee the disposition of every action and proceeding,
but rest assured that we always exert our best.
